Normal hours: our doors are open Tuesday thru Saturday from 10 to 6. PHONES ARE OPEN BY 9, so feel free to call orders in sooner if you like—in fact we encourage it! Closed Sundays and Mondays.

“What’s better, winning a gold medal or having a sandwich named after you at Lake Street Market?”
“Well they’re both pretty cool,” she said, without skipping a beat, “but I definitely would not have this [medal] without growing up on these sandwiches. So if you want to bring home a gold medal, Lake Street Market is the place to go.” I could not have asked for more if I’d written it myself!

We’ve had the “Girls Play Hockey” on our menu since we opened our doors in 2004. We’re thrilled that pro hockey is recognizing the skill and dedication of female players and that the Professional Women’s Hockey League will have a team in Detroit starting next season! GPH, Baby!

There are some extra-cool goods in there this time, including a set of notebooks specifically for lefties and an unabridged copy of The Maltese Falcon reproduced in the “Armed Services Edition” style of the 1940s. Great stocking stuffers!
