“What’s better, winning a gold medal or having a sandwich named after you at Lake Street Market?”
“Well they’re both pretty cool,” she said, without skipping a beat, “but I definitely would not have this [medal] without growing up on these sandwiches. So if you want to bring home a gold medal, Lake Street Market is the place to go.” I could not have asked for more if I’d written it myself!

We (accidentally) have New York Strip!
We ordered ribeye. The box was labeled ribeye. But this is definitely New York Strip, confirmed by the sales rep when I sent him pictures. And it’s prime-grade and no doubt delicious. So if you’ve been wishing we still carried this cut, it’s your lucky day!

There are some extra-cool goods in there this time, including a set of notebooks specifically for lefties and an unabridged copy of The Maltese Falcon reproduced in the “Armed Services Edition” style of the 1940s. Great stocking stuffers!
