16: TASTE OF BOYNE at the Mushroom Festival.
Like our scones on summer Saturdays, LSM's steak and morel pasties have become A Thing. We developed them in miniature form for the Taste of Boyne food tent at the Mushroom Festival, where they have consistently proved to be the item in highest demand. Now we have orders for over a hundred of the full-size version. (Get on the list now if you want some--supply is completely dependent upon the success of local mushroomers and their willingness to part with their bounty. If you do buy our pasties, baking instructions are in the box to the left.)

HOW TO BAKE YOUR PASTIES
Keep pasties frozen until ready to bake.
1. Preheat oven to 410 degrees.
2. Unwrap frozen pasties and place on a baking sheet. Line the pan with parchment if you have it--cleanup will be easier.
3. Bake at 410 for ten minutes, and then:
4. Turn oven down to 350 and continue baking approximately 45 more minutes, until browned to your liking.
